Q.  How do I purchase an Oban shaft? 
   A.  Oban shafts can only be purchased through an authorized Oban Dealer. Oban Dealers are trained and required to custom fit you and install the Oban shaft into a finished golf club. You can find an Oban Dealer near you by clicking on the Dealer Search button on our home page. 

Q.  Can I order shafts online or through a catalog? 
   A.  Oban Dealers are not allowed to sell individual shafts direct to customers. Oban Dealers are required to install the shaft into a finished golf club. Oban wants to ensure that your equipment is optimized with the best performing shaft that will fit your swing and ball flight characteristics. Oban Dealers will fit your with the correct shaft using ball flight monitor technology to optimize ball speed, amount of spin, and trajectory. 

Q.  Why doesn’t Oban publish tipping instructions on their website? 
   A.  Oban Dealers are trained to custom build using Oban shafts. They are knowledgeable about our frequencies and how tipping can effect the outcome of the performance of our shafts. 

Q.  Why doesn’t Oban publish the frequency of every Oban shaft? 
   A.  Frequencies can be measured in various ways using several different methods. We don’t want to be misleading by publishing frequency numbers that may vary because of alternative methods of reading our frequencies. 

Q.  Do you pay any Tour players to use Oban shafts? 
   A.  Over 70 Tour players have used Oban shafts and we do not pay anyone to use our shafts in any manner. 

Q.  Have any notable Tour players played Oban shafts? 
   A.  In 2009, 3 out of the top 10 world ranked players in the world have used Oban shafts.
